ABOUT ME
Since bringing a stranger into your home to look at all the spaces you’re embarrassed about can be a little nerve-racking, here’s a little about me to make things feel a little less weird.
I am a born and raised North Dakotan. I love to travel to visit family, friends, or just explore new places and cultures. I have two dogs who keep me busy with their spunky personality. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, and camping or being outdoors when it’s warm. Admittedly, I love a good house project when the time allows. I also enjoy volunteering for the Alzheimer’s Association when I’m not working. I serve on the Walk to End Alzheimer’s planning committee and facilitate a caregiver support group for Alzheimer’s Caregivers.
My background is in Social Work with experience in retail, childcare, caregiving, mental health, disabilities, and more! I stumbled into Professional Organizing after my dad passed. I was looking for a career change and knew I wanted to fill a community need that wasn’t being met. Professional Organizing seemed like a perfect fit for my background and interests. I was able to merge the mental health, social, and behavioral aspects that lead to clutter and impact our physical space. I’ve now been a Professional Organizer for going on 4 years and am constantly trying to stay up to date on organizing methods.
I approach life with a sense of humor, empathy, and a mission to learn more about others. I approach organizing with a judgement-free attitude. Going through our belongings, developing new habits, and changing our normal routines can be physically and mentally exhausting. I look at organizing as a process rather than a one and done method. I’ll guide you through the de-cluttering and organizing phases. We’re in this together and I can’t wait to get to know more about you!
